OUR WELL-EQUIPPED COTTAGES MAKE A COMFORTABLE BASE FOR A LOVELY HOLIDAY.
Our well-equipped cottages are an excellent base for a happy holiday. Our site is spacious and peaceful and the Lappish wilderness is all around you. Our well-equipped cottages are an excellent base from where to go for fishing trips, hikes in the wilderness or even day trips to the Barents Sea. The Barents Sea and the scenic Norwegian destinations are only an hour’s drive away. From your cottage and the cottage terrace you get a breathtaking view over the Tana River and the surrounding fells. The autumn foliage and the northern lights offer unforgettable experiences.
You can always just stay at your cottage and enjoy life. There are ten cottages at Lomatärppi with plenty of space between them. All our cottages are well-equipped and sleep 2-6 people comfortably – also in the winter.
Lomatärppi cottages are a walking distance from Utsjoki village. Just follow the Tana River 2,4 kilometres towards Karigasniemi.
From our aurora tower you can see open skies all around you. There are two Sámi huts and a campfire site at Lomatärppi for all our guests to use free of charge. In the winter we have two reindeer staying with us.
